Bigg Boss 8: Puneet Issar doesn’t deserve to be on the show, says evicted contestant Renee Dhyani!

Renee has become the ninth contestant to bid adieu to Bigg Boss 8. We caught up with her post her eviction and in a candid conversation, she talked about her experience and more

Renee Dhyani, who made a grand wild card entry in Bigg Boss 8 has been eliminated from the high voltage reality show. Considering she was one of the most aggressive contestants on MTV Roadies, viewers were expecting her to add a lot of masala in Salman Khan’s show, but unfortunately that didn’t happen which resulted in her eviction.

We caught up with Renee post her eviction and in a candid conversation, she talked about her journey inside the house of horrors and a lot more. Excerpts

First things first, how would you describe your experience in the Bigg Boss house?

It just can’t be described in words. It was a different experience altogether.

A lot of viewers were expecting you to spice up the show, but you got eliminated way too early…

Exactly, I couldn’t add that masala in Bigg Boss. People were expecting some explosions with my entry, but when you go inside, it’s a different world. I was lost inside that house. Plus I was trying to put my heart in this show, but I was thinking only about my parents all the time. I felt very lonely in that house.

So are you happy that you are out the Bigg Boss house?

I am eating a burger right now, so I can say I am really happy (laughs). But honestly, looking at it from the games perspective, I became the captain recently. When you become a captain, you can talk with authority. So I thought I could really do a lot of things once you are a captain inside that house.

There are 10 contestants remaining in Bigg Boss 8, who do you think will take away the title?

I feel it’s going to be Pritam (Singh). He is a very straight forward person. There are other contestants, who are under the impression that they are really strong contenders, but they are not.

So who are those contestants who think they are strong?

As far as I have observed, Puneetji (Issar) doesn’t deserve to be in the show. He says something and does completely different. He is a meethi churri. Same goes for Karishma (Tanna) and Sonali (Raut). I really cant understand their game.

Amongst all the contestants, who do you think is still wearing a mask?

I was very close to Upen inside that house. And I felt he hasn’t really come out in open. But from last few days, he has opened up a bit. He will be very entertaining once he removes that mask.

Now Diandra Soares and Gautam Gulati have quite a chemistry in the house, do you think it’s real or is it only for the cameras?

Let me tell you very frankly, things between them changed after the Gautam City task. I won’t say anything else apart from that as it’s their personal matter. But they are giving content to the show.

After the recent episode, many viewers are saying that Salman Khan was biased towards Ali Quli Mirza. Your thoughts?

See Ali Quli is very entertaining personality. We all used to joke around, but he tends to cross the limits. I feel that everything was blown out of proportion.

Jaya Bachchan’s TV debut not happening anytime soon!

Here’s the latest goss from the sets of Amitabh Bachchan’s wife’s fictional TV show….

Jaya Bachchan‘s acting debut on TV has been getting postponed since a long time. It was the same time last year that news about Amitabh Bachchan’s Yudh and Jaya Bachchan’s TV show had come up. On one hand AB’s show came and garnered a lot of praise from critics, Jaya’s show is still no where to be seen. Grapevine has it now that the show might completely get shelved and not take off at all.

The show, as we know, was supposed to have Jaya Bachchan playing the role of a single mother who tries very hard and manages to fend for her whole family, which comprises of three sons, their wives and kids. The show would have been another fictional show with limited number of episodes like Yudh and Anil Kapoor’s 24. It was supposed to be based on a Gujarati novel called Yog Vijog. Reports were also coming that Abhishek Bachchan’s mummy dearest was taking a keen interest in the show and was helping in the casting of other contestants as well just because she was a co-producer in the show. Many popular celebs were being considered to play important roles in the fictional show.

The hyper around the show has almost died down and many actors are coming out protesting the same. Sudeep Sahir, who was brought on board for a very important role informed while speaking to a leading daily, “I was confirmed for the show in December last year, but then didn’t hear from them (the production team) after that. In March this year, I was told that the show might not happen, and that I should look out for work. I don’t think it is happening.”

Our khabroos close to Jaya Bachchan also inform us, “Actors were signed for the show, but no look tests or any other development happened. The set was ready and they were supposed to do a workshop, but then suddenly there was no news. Then representatives of the production team called to tell actors about the uncertain future of the show.”

So it seems that the big budget TV debut of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s sasu dearest wouldn’t happen anytime soon. We aren’t complaining. What about you BollywoodLifers?

Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to star in the remake of Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi?

Not too long ago, the Bachchan bahu had indeed hinted at teaming up with SRK for a film. Guess things have officially materialised….

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan hasn’t even started shooting for her comeback film Jazbaa but the B-town beauty it seems has already signed another film. Well, few days back, we had told you that Ash and Shah Rukh Khan may come together for Rohit Shetty’s next. Looks like we weren’t wrong because according to a leading portal the Guru actress has signed Singham director’s next which will be the remake of 1958 hit film Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi. While King Khan and Aishwarya have been roped in for the remake of this cult classic, the original starred two more male actors, so we’ll have to wait and see which two B-town hunks will end up sharing screen space with SRK and former Miss World.

Interestingly, this is the same film which was initially offered to Kajol. However, things didn’t’ work out and Abhishek Bachchn’s wifey landed the coveted project. In fact, earlier there were even reports about Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor starring in the film alongside the Happy New Year actor. But Rohit Shetty later cleared the air by stating, “Arjun and Varun are my boys. I knew Arjun’s mother, Monaji, personally. Also, I have high regard for David Dhawan, Varun’s dad. I will definitely work with these boys and hopefully, they will agree to work with me (laughs), but I have not finalised them for my film with Shah Rukh. Once my final draft is ready, Shah Rukh and I will take a call on the remaining cast. Till then, everything you hear is mere speculation.”

So how did Ae Dil Hai Mushkil happen?

Well, our source says Karan had jokingly mentioned about his film to Ash at one of Bachchan’s house parties. However, the former Miss World didn’t take the offer seriously as she had signed Jazbaa. Soon a detailed narration happened with Ash and the B-town beauty agreed to be part of the film. Considering Abhishek Bacchan’s wiefy will have a extensive outdoor schedule for this film, wethinks lil Aardhaya will keep her mommy company during the shooting.

Well, now that Karan has pulled off a casting coup, we can’t wait to see what he has in store for us. Guess we’ll have to wait till June 3, 2016 because that’s when the film releases!
