The B-town Baadshah will be accompanied by Shahid Kapoor as anchor of the ceremony in Macau
Shahrukh Khan is back to doing what he does best! Acting? Nah. Something he is an ace at more than his day job – hosting award shows. This year, the Chennai Express star will anchor the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards to be held at The Venetian Macao in Macau. He will be joined by Shahid Kapoor, who was emcee at last year’s IIFA awards along with Farhan Akhtar.
While we’ve loved the SRK-Saif Ali Khan jodi with their awesome chemistry on stage at the Filmfare Awards year after year, we’ve also appreciated SRK at other award shows. With Shahid, the actor earlier hosted the Screen Awards. SRK anchored the IIFA ceremony in Amsterdam way back in 2005.
The IIFA is back in the news this time after a lull last year. On stage, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Deepika Padukone, Sridevi and Prabu Deva will perform along with Abhishek Bachchan. Watch this space for more updates!
