Shilpa Shetty Kundra’s look at Star Parivaar Awards 2013: Blah or gorgeous?

Shilpa Shetty Kundra is known for getting her style right most of the time. Be it a Rajat Tangri pink sheath that she wore at a recent event or the Manish Malhotra creations she keeps strutting around in – Ms Shetty is practically infallible, style-wise. But that wasn’t the case when we saw her at a recent television awards do. The actor chose an Anamika Khanna design and posed for the paparazzi. While we love the dhoti pants, the long jacket looks a tad overwhelming. The gold T-strapped heels are apt for a quick glamour shindig. But the overall look is very thanda. A pretty long kurti or an ethnic long top could have worked much better.

Although we are huge Anamika Khanna fans, this creation kinda disappoints. Fashion verdict: The Shetty babe should ditch the long jacket the next time she appears in funky dhoti bottoms…
